The action in the ring for the most part over the weekend was hugely disappointing.  A series of poor matchmaking in Newcastle failed to capture the imagination and even when Sandor Martin provided an upset against the once great Mikey Garcia in Fresno, we still leave the fight a little deflated.

The best action from Saturday took place between to lightweights in a ringside argument in the hope of which leads to a fight.  Devin Haney made a B line for the world champion Teofimo Lopez of which we pick the bones out of.

Emmanuel Navarette and Joet Gonzalez provided the best fight of the weekend and top rank deliver once again this coming week as we preview Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson.
