12 months ago Callum Smith was making his first defence of his Super Middleweight world title against Hassan N'Dam in New York on the AJ vs Ruiz undercard.  A sensational knock out performance seemed to set him up for the super fight with Canelo Alvarez but it is yet to materialise.
